6.1 Technical Consulting services on the network and operation management of Shanghai Public Transport (1993-1994)

In the international tendering for the World Bank loan project, SYSTRA was awarded the consulting task of optimizing the network and improving the operation management of Shanghai public transport.

6.2 Research to identify Shanghai Public Transport Development Priorities (1994-1995)

This World Bank loan program is designed to identify Shanghai public transport development priorities.

6.3 General Technical Consulting on Guangzhou Metro Line 1 (1995-1998)

Guangzhou Metro Corporation has entrusted SYSTRA as the general consultant of metro construction technology of Line 1. The main technical services include: construction planning, investment control, tracking equipment installation, testing, review on test and commissioning procedures, preparation for trial operation, etc.

6.4 Technical Consultation on Guangzhou Metro Line 2 (1999-2001)

Since 1999, SYSTRA continued to provide technical services for the construction of Guangzhou Metro Line 2, which mainly included: rolling stock (assist the client in the drafting of rolling stock tendering documents, in the formulation of bid evaluation standards, in the negotiation and formulation of contracts), rolling stock maintenance, project management, and automatic faring system.

6.5 Technical Consultation on Shenzhen Metro Line 1 (1999-2001)

In order to protect the interests of the client, optimize the construction cost, duration and quality of the project, and control the risks of the contract, SYSTRA provided comprehensive technical services for the implementation of Shenzhen Metro Phase I project, mainly include construction planning and documentation management, interface management, technical consultation on civil works, system/equipment and rolling stock, operation and operation company staffing and training.

6.6 Technical Evaluation and Consultation on Signaling system and OCC of Shanghai Urban Railway Transport (2001-2002)

In view of the current situation of Shanghai railway transport, considering the need of future large-scale railway transport network construction, combined with the rapid development of international signaling system technology, SYSTRA proposed, from the perspective of meeting the operational requirements, the functional requirements of future signaling and OCC and the principles to be adhered to in the construction process, the improvement of the applicability of the signaling system in network operation so as to make the completed facilities connecting with the future development system, to solve gradually the compatibility problem of the systems, to reduce effectively the construction and maintenance costs, and to meet further the construction requirements of the high-speed development of Shanghai railway transport.

6.7 Technical Consultation on AFC system of Guangzhou Urban Railway Transport Network (2003-2004)

In order to ensure the coordination of Guangzhou urban railway transport network construction, the rationality of AFC system operation, and the saving of construction and operation costs, SYSTRA looked into the market demand, faring structure and development direction, payment method, data processing and clearing. Based on the network planning, SYSTRA carried out the research on the AFC system scheme in order to formulate reasonably ticketing policies, to configure the AFC system equipment, to set up reasonably the clearing center and the ticket processing center, and to define the operation and management organizations, so as to achieve the purpose of network resource sharing and mutual support.

6.11 Technical Consultation on the Operation Preparation of Guangfo Line for Pearl River Delta Intercity Rapid Railway Transport (2008-2009)

As the first practical "inter-city metro line" in China, Guangfo Line adopted the management mode of "small client, big society", so it is completely different from the urban railway transport in terms of investment, construction, operation and management. According to the background of Guangfo Line, SYSTRA studied the most suitable operation entrustment mode for Guangfo Line, made the research on the entrustment of affiliated resources of Guangfo, defined operational evaluation system and service and performance requirements. According to the research results, SYSTRA drafted the operation entrustment and subsidiary resources entrustment management contract.

6.12 Technical Consultation on the Feasibility Study Report of Western Suburban Line of Beijing Modern Tramway Project (2009)

The client entrusted SYSTRA to review the technical key points of the feasibility study report on the western suburban line of the Beijing modern tramway project. The total length of the line is 9.7km, of which the ground line is about 6km, the underground line and the elevated line are about 1.5km respectively, and the transition section is about 900m.

6.13 Review and Consultation on the Research Report of Shanghai Urban Railway Transport Network Operation System (2009)

With the construction and development of Shanghai railway transport network, Shentong Group changed actively from the previous operation and management mode based on single-line to a new operation system based on network, so as to match better the current network development trend. In order to learn from the advanced international standards and procedures, Shentong Group entrusted SYSTRA, a company with rich experience in the railway transport engineering field, to provide consulting suggestions for the research report.

6.14 Technical Consultation on the Bid Preparation Work of Mexico-Queretaro High Speed Railway (2014)

This international EPC general contracting project included project construction and later 5-year operation/maintenance services. SYSTRA provided mainly the technical consulting services for the bid preparation works of the largest overseas engineering contractor in China. The bid preparation work focuses on track, system, rolling stock and operation and maintenance.

6.15 Technical Consultation on Bank Financing Feasibility Study of Simandou Mine Railway Transport Line in Guinea (2015-2016)

SYSTRA carried out the technical review and consulting services for the bank financing feasibility study prepared by the Chinese design institute. The focus of the work mainly involves civil engineering and construction cost analysis, especially the project cost risk analysis based on Monte Carlo simulation method.

6.16 Technical Consultation on APM System of Shanghai Urban Railway Transport Line 8 Phase III (2015-2018)

As an independent party in the implementation of the project, SYSTRA undertook the supervision and management of the core system, and was responsible for the management and consulting services related to the core system from the project construction to the trial operation stage. SYSTRA’s consulting service focused on the quality control and construction coordination of the project, by providing consulting suggestions to the client in the construction planning control, project cost investment control, contract management and information management, so as to ensure that the transportation system finally delivered for operation can meet all functional requirements.

6.17 Technical consultation on electromechnical system comprehensive commissioning test of Xiamen Urban Railway Transport Line 1 (2017)

Through the comprehensive commissioning test before the trial revenue service of the project, the eletromechanical system of the project shall at least meet the requirements of the basic conditions of the trial revenue service. SYSTRA shall assist the client in determining the service level of the trial revenue service of the project and making overall and reasonable arrangements for the comprehensive commissioning test based on the status and progress of each eletromechanical system of the project, so as to ensure that all the testing and debugging projects needed to the trial revenue service can be fully tested and debugged, and can pass smoothly the acceptance and evaluationorganized by the government before the revenue service.
